Hoshin Kanri

Hoshin Kanri is a strategic planning tool that organisations use to connect company-wide objectives to the day-to-day work of individual contributors. In Japanese, the word “hoshin” translates to “policy” or “direction.” The word “kanri” translates to “management.” These two words translate into, “How do we manage our direction?” Hoshin Kanri is a planning technique to translate vision into strategy, objectives, goals and actions.
