Lean Digital has been triggered by the integration of a Lean Thinking continuous problem-solving and innovative culture supported by the adoption of digital technologies such as the Internet of Things, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Cloud and Blockchain. As a consequence, smart organisations are emerging with the expectation of delivering smarter products and/or services. In this masterclass, we will:
- Explore how to integrate Lean Thinking and digital technologies
- Discover some key technologies to support the lean digital transformation
- Discuss the relevance of integrating humans in the lean digital transition
- Understand the emergence of smart organisations and smart products
- Reflect about the emergence of the connected worker
- Be inspired from the lean digital transformation journeys from three Lean Diamonds: Danone, Premium Sound Solutions and Yara
During this masterclass participants will:
- Discover what is Lean Design and why is it relevant to develop new solutions
- Understand the Set Based Concurrent Engineering process
- Reflect about the LAMBA model (Look-Ask-Model-Discuss-Act)
- Learn about Knowledge-based Trade-off curves to enable SBCE
- Get to know and reflect about successful Lean Design industrial cases
